Mythology:

Poros is said to be the birthplace of romantic tragedy. In the middle of the battle, the daughter of the city, Scylla fell in love with king Minos and to show her love, she cut off a lack of her father’s hair, that was said to be the source of the immortality.

She also stole the keys to the city gates and gave them to the king, hence he was victorious. Sadly she was rejected by King Minos who set sail after the victory. In desperation Scylla jumped into the sea and followed his ships, drawing of exhaustion. The area where she perished was named after her and is to this day named cape Skili.

After a “short walk ” with the boat, I’ve arrived in Poros, the time was short but I am sure I will come back and do something more romantic on this island that was my only thought for this island, it was singing into my mind like a promise…

The only thing I’ve managed to do on this island was to climb the stairs until the old clock, admire the sea under my feat climb a little more ion a rock with my white and blue greek dress and go straight to the boat so that we can go to the last stop Aegina Island.
