Athens is calling part 2

The lucky one – Song

Καλημέρα αγαπητοί μου αναγνώστες!

Plaka is one of the most ancient settlements in Europe, with a history of more than 3.500 years. Located under the Acropolis, its charming atmosphere is spread all around the narrow streets, the ancient ruins, the Byzantine temples and the renovated neoclassical buildings.

Since I’ve been last time up, on Acropolis I’ve decided to do something else this time I have decided to go at the first taverna at Plaka on the stairs, there I’ve eaten the best apple pie with vanilla ice cream and greek frappe.

After my tasty breakfast and great coffee, I’ve gone down the stairs and admire the Roman Agora.

My next target was Monastiraki, admiring the noisy area full of tavernas and shops.

In the evening I went at Cape Sounion and just stopped everything that I was doing and thinking, stop all the noise around me and just breath and watch the sun setting over the Temple of Poseidon.
